Do you know about our Art Workshops?

Claremont Gallery exhibits a carefully curated selection of the very best artists and makers working locally today, new graduates and established artists working in fine art, design and craft and introduces artists living and working outwith the UK.

Since opening in November 2012 we have endeavoured to offer a wide range of Art  Workshops for the seasoned artists among you as well as the complete beginner.

To date we have held classes in Japanese Suminagashi Monoprinting:

Book Binding in various forms with artists Tracey Johnston, Gwen Black and Susan Cassie:

Needle Felting with Nienke Van Ginkel:

An Introduction to Watercolour Painting with Jenny Hunter:

Our Watercolour painting group meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4pm.  Tuition is provided and geared towards the individual. See more at

We haven’t forgotten about our young artist and we operate our Art Club for Children both over the holidays and during term time.  Our Summer Art Club 2012 has been very successful with lots of really fantastic works being made!  We really have a lot of very gifted children attending, its really a joy to teach!  Have a peek at their fabulous work 

Art Club continues during term time on Tuesday’s from 4- 5.30pm.
