Winter Newsletter

We’ve been really busy at Claremont Gallery since we last wrote, planning our Exhibitions, Workshops and special events to bring you a carefully curated choice of artist and artisan makers working locally and further afield.

Our current exhibition is by the well known and well loved local artist James Furneaux. His work will be familiar to many people living in Aberdeen. For over fifty years he has been recording aspects of our city often from the most unlikely angles with both bold and sensitive draftsmanship and use of colour, transforming the ordinary into the beautiful. Looking over rooftops, up alleyways and into back gardens, James Furneaux’s gift to us is to make us see our city through fresh eyes.

‘Cityscapes’ by James Furneaux continues until 17th of November and really shouldn’t be missed!

This year our Winter Exhibiton will celebrate the wealth of talented Designer Makers living and working in our small corner of the world.
