Creative Painting & Finishing Techniques for Furniture

Transform your tired old furniture with a little paint and some insider tips and tricks! Learn creative painting techniques and finishes using Milk Paint. In this introductory class you will learn step-by-step how to mix and apply Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint to achieve the perfectly finished or distressed look. Fully demonstrated and one-to-one instructions given. All materials and refreshments are supplied. Please bring an apron with you.
An Introduction to Watercolours Short Course £130
Tuesdays 10.30-12.30 from 2-23 February
Whether you’re a beginner or you already have some experience of painting at home, you’ll find that this course starts with the basics and allows you to acquire a range of useful technical skills. You will learn how to stretch paper, apply colour washes and use the paint to bring out the full translucent quality of the medium. Lots of visual examples will be provided to stimulate ideas about style, colour and composition. With practice, you’ll gain confidence in using your new-found skills at home. You may also choose to move on to other, more advanced classes.
Watercolour Painting Group Our monthly Watercolour Painting Group will resume on Sunday 30th January 2-4pm. Please contact me for a list of the materials you will need to bring with you. Tutoring and refreshments provided. This class is ideal for those who already have some experience of painting at home or who have completed the introductory short course.
